An important part of when your dog visits NCMO for vaccinations is a wellness examination. Before administering any vaccines the veterinarian will examine your dog to look for any issues, and address any changes that you have noticed since your dog’s last examination.
*Heartworm disease is a potentially fatal disease that is transmitted by mosquitoes. We recommend using monthly heartworm preventative, and regularly performing heartworm testing.
We will call you or meet you outside with the findings of our physical exam. We will then discuss any changes or recommendations for your dog’s care. Thank you for entrusting us with your pet and we look forward to speaking with you.
